At Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, a student of Jade Moon Wushu Academy has started a Wushu Club! The club meets twice a week and consists of about five to ten university students. Students learn proper stretching techniques and basic exercises, as well as the jumps, flips, and kicks of their home school, JMWA. Coach visits occur once a month, to better hone the students' skills and teach them exciting new movements! The NAU Wushu Club will be participating in the NAU Multicultural Week from April 5th through the 9th, as well as the Club Sports Spring Fling on April 14th.
